Elon Musk Responds After Trump Tees Off On Him In Truth Social Post

Former President Donald Trump has unleashed a tirade of furiousness on Elon Musk and the Tesla CEO has responded.

He was speaking at the rally for Alaska Republican candidates, like Sarah Palin who was on hand, when he mocked Musk as he spoke about left-wing censorship.

“Another one of our highest priorities under a Republican Congress will be to stop left-wing censorship and to restore free speech in America”, he said.

“Elon is not gonna buy Twitter. Where did you hear that before? From me,” he said, referencing comments he made in May where he predicted that the deal would not happen.

“Well, he might later who the hell knows what’s going to happen? He’s got a pretty rotten contract, elegant, his contract, not a good contract,” he said.

But it was Musk saying that he cast his first vote for a Republican for Mayra Flores, a Republican representative, that drew the former president’s ire.

“You know he said the other day, ‘oh I’ve never voted for a Republican.’ I said I didn’t know that, he told me he voted for me,” he said. “So he’s another bulls**t artist.”

Musk responded on Twitter with an attack of his own.

“I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency,” he said in response to a Twitter video of Trump’s attack.

Radio host Joe Pagilarulo responded by asking Musk what issues he had with the Trump presidency.

“your response makes no sense. What about his presidency did you have a problem with: Energy Independence Lower Regulations Lower Taxes ISIS Obliterated XL Pipeline Being Constructed Russian Pipeline Stopped Border Under Control What — on policy — did you have an issue with?” he said.

Musk responded by talking about the “dram” and also what he thinks the maximum age to start a presidency is.

“Yeah, but too much drama. Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!? Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69,” he said.

But that response made Trump furious and he took to his Truth Social platform to tear into him again.

“When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he’d be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, ‘drop to your knees and beg,’ and he would have done it,” he said.

“Now Elon should focus on getting himself out of the Twitter mess because he could owe $44 billion for something that’s perhaps worthless. Also, lots of competition for electric cars!” he said. “P.S., Why was Elon allowed to break the $15 million stock purchase barrier on Twitter without any reporting? That is a very serious breach! Have fun Elon and @jack, go to it!”

That prompted another, simpler, response from Musk.

He responded by tweeting “lmaooo” on Twitter and then a GIF of Grampa Simpson from “The Simpsons” shaking his fist and yelling at clouds.

Prior to the argument the former president had shared his glee over news that Musk’s deal to purchase Twitter was, apparently, dead.

“THE TWITTER DEAL IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE ‘TRUTH’” he said on his aptly named Truth Social platform.

It came after Musk announced that his advisers on Friday sent a letter to Twitter formally notifying the social company that he is terminating the merger agreement, Bloomberg News reported.

“For nearly two months, Mr. Musk has sought the data and information necessary to make an independent assessment of the prevalence of fake or spam accounts on Twitter’s platform,” Musk’s team writes. “Twitter has failed or refused to provide this information.”
